Halo Sahabat Gurnulis. Alhamdulillah bersua lagi kita dalam wadah blog pembelajaran inspiratif ini ya. Masih ingat dengan bahasan Asesmen Sumatif dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yang penulis ulas beberapa waktu yang lalu? Bahasan kali ini merupakan lanjutan dari topik tersebut.

Pada satuan pendidikan Sekolah Dasar, penilaian sumatif bertujuan untuk menilai pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran dan/ atau capaian pembelajaran peserta didik. Cara menilai pencapaian hasil belajar peserta didik dilakukan dengan membandingkan pencapaian hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kriteria ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran.

Penilaian sumatif pada Kurikulum Merdeka memiliki fungsi:

alat ukur untuk mengetahui pencapaian hasil belajar peserta didik dalam satu atau lebih tujuan pembelajaran di periode tertentu;
mendapatkan nilai capaian hasil belajar untuk dibandingkan dengan kriteria capaian yang telah ditetapkan; dan
menentukan kelanjutan proses belajar siswa di kelas atau jenjang berikutnya.

Kapan penilaian sumatif dapat dilakukan? Penilaian ini dapat dilaksanakan setelah pembelajaran berakhir, misalnya pada akhir satu lingkup materi (dapat terdiri atas satu atau lebih tujuan pembelajaran), pada akhir semester, dan pada akhir fase. Khusus penilaian pada akhir semester ini, penilaiannya hanya bersifat pilihan. Jika pendidik merasa masih memerlukan konfirmasi atau informasi tambahan untuk mengukur pencapaian hasil belajar peserta didik, maka dapat melakukan asesmen pada akhir semester.
